Day-to-day life leans social and active. The property owners association maintains South Recreation Park, which has fresh water on one side and salt water on the other, along with two bocce courts, a playground, and covered pavilions. There is a dog park near the North Gate with separate hours for large, small, and toy dogs, kayak racks on both the fresh and salt waterways, catch-and-release fishing, and Butterfly Island, a natural habitat area reached by a wooden walkway and dotted with gazebos. A remote-control sailing club meets Saturday afternoons in season.

Access is easier than it is in most gated communities of this size. Jonathan’s Landing has three entrances — the main gate off Indiantown Road plus two separate entrances off Alternate A1A — so residents can choose the gate closest to their village and avoid backing up at a single point of entry. It also means quick access in either direction on Alternate A1A, whether heading south toward Palm Beach Gardens or north across the Loxahatchee River.

Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club

Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club centers its recreation and wellness programming on a 13,000-square-foot wellness center at the Village campus. The facility houses a fitness center and a full-service spa and salon. Racquet sports are a significant part of club life: there are ten Har-Tru tennis courts and six pickleball courts on site.

Dining is spread across three venues. The Landing and Pub 1696 operate at the Village clubhouse in Jupiter, and The Perch serves members at the club’s Old Trail campus. The club runs a full calendar of social events and programming across both locations.

Three Championship Golf Courses

• The Village Course sits inside the Jonathan’s Landing community itself, a few miles from the Atlantic. Beau Welling Design completed a comprehensive renovation of the layout in late 2024, and the course reopened in January 2025. The work rebuilt greens, tees, and bunkers on all 18 holes, rerouted holes three through seven, regrassed the course with Bimini bermuda fairways and TifEagle greens, and installed new drainage, irrigation, and cart paths. Its 17th hole is reached by a ferry ride across the Intracoastal Waterway — one of the more unusual holes in South Florida golf.
• The Medal is a Tom Fazio design at the club’s Old Trail campus, routed through protected nature preserves for a strategic but playable round. Kipp Schulties Golf Design carried out a renovation of the course in 2017 that included redesigned bunkering and infrastructure upgrades.
• The Match, also at Old Trail, was built by Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner and opened in 2021 as a full replacement for the earlier course on the site. Multiple tee positions let the layout play differently from round to round. Golf Digest ranked it No. 4 on its 2023 Best Transformation list.

The Old Trail campus is located in Ranch Colony, a gated enclave in southern Martin County with a Jupiter mailing address (ZIP 33478), northwest of the Village campus. Old Trail also offers an expansive driving range with a Himalayan putting green, wedge practice fields, and a practice par-three hole.

Boating and the Marina

Jonathan’s Landing Yacht Club, the community’s marina, sits on Casseekey Island Road and offers roughly 135 slips with dock depths to about 14 feet and accommodation for vessels well over 100 feet. From the marina, boaters reach the Jupiter Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean by way of the Intracoastal Waterway with no fixed bridges in between — the reason many buyers choose the community in the first place. Out of the Blue, a restaurant at the marina, serves residents and guests on a seasonal schedule.

A Well-Connected Location

Jonathan’s Landing sits minutes from Harbourside Place, the waterfront dining, retail, and entertainment district on Jupiter’s Intracoastal Waterway, with dockside boat slips, an amphitheater, and a riverwalk. The district is in the middle of a significant redevelopment: in February 2026, the Jupiter-based firm Voloridge announced the acquisition of a portion of Harbourside Place with plans for a new office building, alongside a redesign of the amphitheater and a renovation of the on-site hotel.

Other destinations within easy reach include Jupiter Beach and Carlin Park, the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum operated by the Loxahatchee River Historical Society, and Palm Beach to the south for fine dining, luxury retail, and cultural venues. Palm Beach International Airport is roughly a 30-minute drive.

Jupiter Medical Center, a full-service regional hospital on South Old Dixie Highway, is the closest acute-care facility. The hospital broke ground in June 2026 on a second campus at Avenir in Palm Beach Gardens, expanding emergency and specialty access in the north county.

Family Life & Schooling

Jonathan’s Landing is served by the School District of Palm Beach County. Jupiter splits the elementary years across two campuses: Lighthouse Elementary School serves PK through grade 2, and Beacon Cove Intermediate School serves grades 3 through 5. Students then attend Jupiter Middle School for grades 6 through 8 and Jupiter Community High School — commonly called Jupiter High — for grades 9 through 12.

Jupiter Community High is worth a closer look for families with older students. It runs a slate of choice and in-house academies, including the Environmental Choice Academy, the Engineering Choice Academy, the Medical Sciences–Pre-Medicine Choice Academy, an Army JROTC Choice Academy, and in-house academies in criminal justice, culinary arts, horticulture, marketing, and information technology and esports. The environmental program traces to the Jupiter Environmental Research and Field Studies Academy, launched in August 1993 with 75 students and two teachers, and the school operates the Perry J. Cohen Wetlands Lab as part of its environmental curriculum.

Private and parochial options are well represented nearby. Jupiter Christian School, founded in 1963, is a nondenominational school at 700 South Delaware Boulevard serving PK through grade 12. All Saints Catholic School, at 1759 Indian Creek Parkway in Jupiter, is a PK–8 school in the Diocese of Palm Beach. The Benjamin School, a non-sectarian college preparatory day school founded in 1960, runs a PK3–8 campus in North Palm Beach and a grades 9–12 upper school campus in Palm Beach Gardens.
